Kayla

Kayla is a dedicated practice manager with a passion for enhancing veterinary care and creating a supportive environment for both pets and their owners. She began her journey in the veterinary field as a technician in 2016, joined My Family Vet Montgomery in July 2020 as a lead technician and has since elevated her career, becoming a practice manager here at My family Vet Montgomery. An advocate for compassionate pet care, Kayla is also Fear Free Certified, ensuring that every interaction is optimized for comfort and well-being.

Her expertise includes a keen interest in radiology and surgery, which reflects her commitment to advancing her knowledge and skills in veterinary science. As a certified pharmacy technician licensed since 2016, Kayla brings comprehensive knowledge to her role, allowing her to effectively manage operations and support her team in delivering exceptional service.

Outside of work, you can find Kayla exploring new travel destinations, enjoying the great outdoors, or hanging out with her friends and family. She shares her home with an adorable crew of 7 pets: Lucius the Cane Corso, Kohl the Labrador Retriever, Brylee the Chesapeake Bay Retriever, and four playful cats—Jameson, Kamora, Jäegermeister, and Kahlua. Kayla truly embraces life with her big heart and love for adventure!

Morgan

Morgan is a dedicated nursing student at Lone Star College, with a keen interest in veterinary surgery and radiology. With a passion for animal care rooted in her experience, she has served as a Lead Veterinary Technician at My Family Vet Montgomery since June 2021. Her commitment to exceptional veterinary practice is highlighted by her credentials as a Certified Veterinary Assistant in 2023 and her Fear Free certification, ensuring a compassionate and calming environment for all animals under her care.

Morgan is not only a professional in the veterinary field but also a proud mother to her daughter, Scarlett, and a loving dog owner. Balancing her family life with her aspirations in veterinary medicine, she embodies a commitment to nurturing both her personal and professional worlds.

As she progresses through her nursing education, Morgan aims to merge her clinical skills with her deep-seated love for animals, ultimately enhancing the field of veterinary medicine through surgery and radiology.

With over two decades of dedicated experience in the veterinary profession, Cassie has been an essential part of My Family Vet Montgomery since August 2021, where she excels as a client service representative and veterinary technician. Her passion for animal care is highlighted by her Fear Free certification and her certification as a veterinary assistant, earned in 2015, which showcases her commitment to providing compassionate and stress-free experiences for pets and their owners.

Growing up in Magnolia, Texas, Cassie has always had a deep love for animals. She shares her home with four dogs—Wasabi, Wagyu (aka Rooster), Abel, and Bean—as well as two red-footed tortoises named Bullet and Mr. Runs. This diverse pet family reflects her devotion to animal care both personally and professionally.

Beyond her work, Cassie enjoys traveling with her husband, who works on the road, allowing them to explore new places together. She also finds joy in crocheting and repurposing old furniture, blending creativity with sustainability. As a proud mother of four, she nurtures both her family and her passion for animals, embodying a life rich in love, creativity, and service.

Cassie’s dedication to her field and her personal touch make her a valued asset to the My Family Vet Montgomery community, where she continues to make a positive impact on pets and their families.

Melisa is a dedicated cosmetologist, having earned her license from the Aveda Institute in 2022. With a strong passion for enhancing the well-being of both humans and their pets, she is currently pursuing her Fear Free certification to further enrich her skills in creating positive and stress-free experiences.

Growing up in Magnolia, Texas, Melisa graduated from Magnolia High School and learned the value of community and care from an early age. She is a devoted mother to her daughter, Kalynn, and a proud pet owner of two lively dogs, Dank and Buda, as well as a cat named Cat. Together with her husband, she embraces every opportunity to explore the great outdoors, making lasting memories with her family.

In June 2024, Melisa began her role as a Client Service Representative at My Family Vet Montgomery. Here, she combines her love for animals with her background in cosmetology, striving to ensure that every visit is a positive experience for both clients and their furry companions. With her unique blend of skills and heartfelt dedication, Melisa is committed to making a difference in her community, one smile (and wagging tail) at a time.

Becky is a passionate veterinary professional specializing in radiology and surgery. As a Fear Free Certified veterinary assistant, she ensures animals receive top-notch care in a calm and stress-free environment. Since joining My Family Vet Montgomery shortly after it opened in June 2020, she’s made a huge difference in the lives of countless pets and their owners.

With seven years of experience as a technician at a small animal hospital near her hometown south of Ft. Worth, Texas, Becky is always eager to learn more. She's got her sights set on expanding her skills in small animal rehabilitation therapy someday!

Originally from a cozy Texas town, Becky and her husband of 22 years made the move to Montgomery in 2018, bringing along their two daughters, two dogs, and two birds—life is definitely lively! Her love for animals is at the heart of everything she does, driving her belief that every creature deserves compassion and respect.

When she’s not at the clinic, Becky advocates for animal welfare and enjoys family time, embodying her heartfelt mission to improve the lives of animals one day at a time. With a big heart and amazing expertise, Becky Martinez is truly a gem in the veterinary community!

With a passion for animal health and welfare, Andrea is on the path to becoming a leader in the field of cattle artificial insemination. Currently pursuing a degree in Animal Science with a focus on Agricultural Business, Andrea is set to graduate from Sam Houston State University in 2028. As part of her professional growth, she is also working towards her Fear Free Certification, ensuring a humane and stress-free experience for both animals and their handlers.

Andrea's journey into veterinary care began with her role at My Family Vet Montgomery, where she will expand her practical skills starting June 2024. Alongside her academic pursuits, she holds a phlebotomy certificate, underlining her commitment to comprehensive animal care.

Outside of her professional aspirations, Andrea is a devoted pet owner to a dog named Asher and two cats, Salem and Colby Jack. Her love for animals extends beyond her studies; she enjoys reading, playing video games, and watching dramas, which keep her creative and relaxed.

Through her education and hands-on experience, Andrea West aims to empower animal farmers with innovative cattle insemination techniques, contributing to the future of sustainable agriculture.

Hailing from Spring, Texas, she is a proud graduate of the Spring Early College Academy, Class of 2021. She persued her Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology, alongside her current progress toward becoming Fear Free Certified.

Breyli has a keen interest in radiology, aiming to utilize this specialized knowledge to enhance animal care and well-being. Her hands-on experience, combined with her compassionate approach to animal health, makes her a valuable asset to the veterinary community.

At home, Breyli is surrounded by her two beloved dogs, a cat, a rabbit, and a bird, all of whom inspire her daily. Beyond her professional pursuits, she enjoys gaming, which provides a fun and relaxing contrast to her rigorous studies and work.

With her commitment to animal advocacy and a passion for learning, Breyli is poised to make a significant impact in the veterinary field and the lives of the pets she cares for.
